Building a Snowman!

Dressing the snowman!

Tyler, Braden, Sarah
The snowman has two names, Sarah says he's Frosty, Tyler and Braden say it is Clickey.

Ohhhh! What a cute snowman! Sarah was out there talking to the snowman. She said she was telling him jokes! Too cute!
Our family was asked to sing in Sacrament Meeting today. We sang "Tell Me the Stories of Jesus." Mom and Dad sang the first verse, the kids sang the second verse and we all sang the third verse. We got a lot of compliments, so I guess we sounded descent. We were grateful for the opportunity to sing this wonderful song and learn some of the stories of Jesus along the way!

Thanksgiving 2010

Thanksgiving!

Wednesday, November 24, 2010! We decided that for dinner the night before Thanksgiving we would watch Charlie Brown Thanksgiving and eat their dinner. (Thanks for the idea Darla.) So we got out the TV trays. We had popcorn, toast, jelly beans, pretzels and chips for dinner. We had a great time and decided this should be our new tradition. It is fine with mom, that is one less meal I have to cook.
For Thanksgiving this year we stayed here at our house. We had our friends Heather and Tracey Rau over for dinner. Their kids were at their dad's for the holiday, so it was just the two of them. We had a wonderful dinner with all the Thanksgiving fixin's. We followed dinner with a family movie and a rest on the couch! It was a great day!
We promised Tyler that when he got his casts off we could go do something fun as a family. He chose to go to Chuck E. Cheese's, so Friday we went and had pizza and let the kids play some games. They had a great time.

Sarah in the Hood?!?

Sarah got a new coat this year. It came with this hat. She was very excited to wear it and came out dressed this way one morning! Silly girl!

Tyler's Arms

Wednesday, November 17, 2010

This picture was taken on the last day Tyler had his casts. He got them off on Wednesday, November 17. He was very excited. The doctor told him no rough housing or sports for two weeks. He has been really good to take it easy, and seems to have healed very nicely. We are thankful for doctors that could help him heal from this accident.

Hot Dog Anyone?

Friday, October 29, 2010

These are some costumes we have used before, but I was too busy to come up with something new!

Halloween!

Braden, Tyler and Sarah

The front of the book!

The back of the book.
After Halloween last year Braden told me he wanted to be a book next year. I had a whole year to figure out how was going to make it work. I think it turned out pretty cute. He wrote the story and designed the cover! I think we may have an author on our hands!

Captain Rex
Of course Tyler had to be something from Star Wars, what else is there?

Our cute Bumble Bee!

First went to a trunk or treat in Roy with the Turpins (Thanks Bishop Turpin for inviting us.) Then we came home and hit a few houses in our neighborhood. The kids loved it.

Halloween Parade

Thursday, Ocotober 28, 2010

I have a picture of Sarah and Hannah sitting in their costumes waiting for the parade to start. My how they've grown!

Captain Rex
Tyler was a little nervous that his costume wouldn't fit over the casts, but it worked just fine!
