We stopped for a bathroom break in Baker, CA at the giant thermometer. We got to our hotel in Anaheim in the afternoon.

We left our house on Saturday, June 19 and drove to Las Vegas. We stayed at Circus Circus Hotel.

Braden played machine pitch this year. He was on a third & fourth grade team. He had a draft back in April. He had a lot of fun playing this season and had a great coach!

Solar Oven S'mores

Braden made this little solar oven in school. He has been dying to use it, so one afternoon he decided to make s'mores! Here he is hangin' out wating for the chocolate to melt! They were delicious! Good job Braden!

We decided that for Family Home Evening we would walk the trail that goes behind Lagoon and up to Farmington Pond and have a picnic for dinner.

We finally got an edger. I think we gained about 4 inches total on our sidewalk. It looks so good! Good job Wayne!

USU Memorial to the victims of the 2005 van accident that took the life of Wayne's brother Curt.

We decided to head to Logan on the first real day of summer vacation. We went to see the memorial and then to the Roska's house. We then went out to dinner at Firehouse Pizza. Yummy!

Missionaries

June 4, 2010

In the fall we had the wonderful opportunity of having the full-time misionaries in our home. They were teaching some of our neighbors who were nine, but not yet baptized. This is a picture of our family with Elder Morris one of the missionaries who came to our home. He is awesome and the kids just loved him. He goes home to Texas this week, so he came to say goodbye and get a picture with our family!

Braden played "Star Wars the Main Theme" by John Williams. As you can see he had no music. He had the song memorized.

Tyler sang Take me Out to the Ballgame. He said he was scared to sing in front of that many people. He did a great job though!

Both of the boys did awesome! We were proud of them! It takes a lot of courage to get up in front of all your peers and preform! Way to go boys!
