Braden's New Glasses!

January 13, 2011

Braden came home from school last week saying he couldn't see the board. After talking to his teacher we decided he needed to go to the optometrist. We took him last Saturday and he is near sighted. He doesn't need them to read, but he needs them to see far away! I think the glasses make him look so smart and grown up!

Christmas Vacation 2010

We went to In -n- Out Burger in Centerville for lunch during the break. It was delicious. It was very crowded and we got to sit at the bar, which the kids loved! They even gave the kids hats and stickers! It was well worth the 25 min drive! Yum!

We tried to do some fun family things during Christmas Break this year! We needed to keep the boys busy, so they wouldn't get too bored!

On Tuesday, December 21 we went to the BYU vs. Weber State Basketball game at Weber State, with a bunch of friends from our ward. It was a good game the Cougars won 72-66!

On Wednesday, December 22 we saw Disney's Tangled! It was a great movie! We had some free tickets we needed to use, so we only had to buy one ticket!

On Friday, December 24 we went for our traditional breakfast. We had to change venues, because they tore down Doug & Emmy's to make way for the new interchange in Layton. We went to Sill's Cafe and it was just as good!

Mark, Amy and Catherine came for a visit on December 26-27. We enjoyed catching up with them. The kids had fun playing with Catherine!

On New Year's Eve we let everyone chose a game to play! We played Life, R2D2 Trouble, Shrek Carnival Games on the Wii and Disney Scene It. The kids did a few poppers and we toasted with our sparkling cider.

We had a great vacation and good times with our family. I think everyone was ready to go back to school when January 3 came.

Roller Skating

Christmas
2010

I came outside to find all the kids testing out their new roller skates from Santa.

It was a little bit harder than they thought it would be. In the end they had a lot of fun and started to figure it out. If only it would get a little warmer and the ice would melt off the driveway so they could do some more skating. I am sure Spirng will be here before we know it and they will be out there skating!
