Pioneer Day

Monday, July 23

We decided to do our Pioneer Day fireworks the night before!

We did the Cinemark Summer Movie Pass.  We had a lot of fun going to the movies.  On Pioneer Day Dad got to come with us.  We saw Puss in Boots!

Grand Junction, Colorado

July 19-21

We went to visit Great Grandma Payne!

We went downtown to see all the art, but it was just too hot!  We ended up at Dairy Queen for some ice cream!  It tasted good!

Grandma had some burns on her skin, so we didn't get any pictures with her!

We had fun swimming at the hotel and hanging out with Grandma!  We were ready to get home and see Dad! (He stayed home because he had to work!

They moved the monument outside.  At first I couldn't believe that they did that, but after seeing it it looks great and is a very nice tribute to the men killed in the accident with Curt!

We had never been to the Willow Park Zoo before.  We had a great time.  It was a nice park with lots of fun animals to see.
