Braden's Hives

July 16, 2010

Braden had strep throat. He had a Penicillin shot at was on an oral dose of Amoxicillin. He had some kind of reaction after 7 days and had hives everywhere. This picture doesn't really do justice to how bad he looked. He had a sick couple of weeks!

The 4th of July was on a Sunday, so West Point City had its celebration on the 3rd. In keeping with tradition we ate donuts and juice while waiting for the parade to start. After the Parade we went to Toy Story 3 in 3D. It was a lot of fun. We came home and rested then had a BBQ with some friends. We went to the West Point City Fireworks after that.

We went to Jace's grave in Washington before heading home on Saturday! We left him some flowers for his birthday!

Sarah bought this cute Cinderella doll at Disneyland! She had to get it out of the box as soon as we got home!

What a fun vacation! We had a great time! The kids did really well in the car! They were pretty tired when we got home!

Watching the game!

Braden was sooooo tired from the weeks activities that he fell asleep around the 5th inning. By the 7th they were all falling asleep. Wayne and I decided we couldn't carry three sleeping kids out of the stadium, so we left. The Dodgers ended up winning the game 6 to 10. We had a great time. The stadium is very nice and super close to Disneyland!

It's a Small World! This was one of the rides that we all enjoyed. It truly is a Small World. We saw two different families from our ward and a guy that Wayne used to teach with.

We could see the fireworks from our Hotel window, but on Wednesday night we went back to the park to watch them over the castle. We saw Dumbo and Tinkerbell flying over the castle too!

The whole Disneyland trip was awesome! We had so much fun! Most rides we could split up and go two in one and three in the other! If we did have to seperate Braden was a great sport and volunteered to ride alone! We can't wait to go back! It truly is a magical place!
